Portfolio of Works

I started making these Christmas tree toppers out of necessity. The Angel for our tree broke and my Cross Stitch one was too small to use on our big trees. So I made one, a Mother Nature Angel, she was my first. They have come a long way since my first Angel; they can be as simple or elaborate as you like.

Each Angel is custom, made to order, and can be done in any Ethnic likeness you choose. They can come with a handmade custom stand so they can be displayed all year long or just as a topper. They range in price from $200.00 to $400.00.

These Angel are very popular and make beautiful heirloom gifts, which can be passed down for generations. If you would like to have an Angel Tree Topper commissioned, please contact me via email. I am now taking orders.

All the pieces you see in this collection can be commissioned and customized. I love rimming gourds with Pine Needles. I have a wide variety of pine needles which I have hand dyed and treated with glyserin. If not listed as available, it can be made to order. Drop me a line you see something you like!

These gourd art baskets start with a Canteen gourd that I cut in half. They have an Ammonite Fossil in front and are rimmed with coiled pine needles. I enjoy combining these natural materials and love coming up with different themes that are burnt onto the gourd to complete my baskets. My baskets sell fast, but not to worry, all baskets can be commissioned and customized to your personal tastes! Drop me an email if you want to customize a piece for yourself or as a gift! Handmade items make perfect gifts!

I love wildlife, and the world of birds and animals. They are one of my favorite things to draw and paint. So naturally, I like to add them to my gourds. Some of the wildlife I paint are are done in abstract and some are in realism. But no matter the style, they are all done with enthusiasm and a love of wildlife.

If you'd like me to make a gourd with our favorite wildlife theme, drop me an email. I would to work with you!

The Apples and Pears you see here are created using Transparent Acrylics, and some with Gold Metallic and Alcohol. I also use a method I developed by move the paint around with canned air. The leaves are hand carve out of a gourd shard. The final finish is a protective coat of varnish.
